At the Abubakar Islamic Center of Louisville, we offer comprehensive Islamic education to help community members deepen their understanding of Islam. Our Islamic classes cover essential topics such as Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Aqeedah (Islamic beliefs), and Islamic history. These classes are designed for individuals seeking to strengthen their faith and expand their knowledge of Islam’s teachings and practices.

Our Classes:

1. Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)

• Learn the rulings related to daily life, including prayer, fasting, Zakat, marriage, and business.
• Explore the different schools of thought (Madhahib) and how Fiqh evolves with time.
• Engage in discussions about contemporary issues in light of Islamic rulings.

2. Aqeedah (Islamic Beliefs)

• Study the core beliefs of Islam, including the pillars of faith, the nature of Allah (SWT), and the role of prophets.
• Understand the concept of Tawheed (monotheism) and its significance in a Muslim’s life.
• Delve into the topics of the afterlife, angels, divine books, and predestination (Qadr).

3. Islamic History

• Explore the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his companions, and the early generations of Muslims.
• Learn about key Islamic civilizations, events, and contributions to the world.
• Study the impact of Islamic history on modern society and the lessons it holds for Muslims today.

Who Can Join?

• Adults: These classes are open to all adults, whether you are new to learning about Islam or looking to deepen your understanding.
• Teens: We also encourage younger students to join, as our classes can be tailored to suit different learning levels.

Class Schedule:

• Fiqh: Mondays | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
• Aqeedah: Wednesdays | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
• Islamic History: Saturdays | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Additional class times may be added based on demand and special topics.
